happenings
Is it already Wednesday?! What is going on? This week is flyin.
Nothing uber exciting but I did manage to do three workouts already. Three classes this week: I am SUCH a class junkie sometimes. I’ve done Body Combat, RPM (Spin) and Body Pump. That’s pretty well rounded wouldn’t you say?
I only wish I lived where this girl could be my instructor! That would be fun. So fun.
I also have been rocking the summer wardrobe! I am loving my summer necklaces, summer clothes and flips. I even managed to squeeze in a summer infinity scarf. I got this at GAP for $15 and it is so light. It feels like the T-shirt material!
I paired it with a plain white tank and black shorts. I felt so sassy. Ha! I seriously love clothes. I am my mother’s daughter.
What else? Oh! I have a teacher training today. Should be fine. Aint no thang! 🙂 Random but do you bring your own lunch to trainings even if food is provided? I usually do.
I am also loving pistachios as of late. For real. These nuts are making me one happy snacker. I can go to town. Fortunately Keith is on a walnut kick right now so I am not really having to share. I love it when Keith and I are on different food kicks. When we are both craving the same foods at the same time it can get ugly in the Bruneman household.
Wow…do my hands need lotion or what? How embarrassing?
I totally have let myself get sucked into Veronica Mars reruns. I promised myself I was not going to get involved. And then it happened. It so happened. Ugggghh.
Moving on….I am also drinking down ice tea like it is nobody’s business. I have been buying the Lipton Cold Brew and it is amazing. I add fresh squeezed lemon and some stevia and then watch out because I am slurping it down. Keith? Nope. Not as big of a tea fan! Life is so good. 🙂
Tell me your happenings?
I have been living in flip flops. Which is hilarious, given the state my feet are in. I’d get a pedi if I weren’t so embarassed.
And yay for this week flying! Bring on the weekend…
I was OBSESSED with summer scarves last year. I wore them with a tank top almost every day – so easy and they look like you put so much more effort into an outfit 🙂 You are also just too cute in that picture 🙂
Glad to see it looks like you are back to 100%! The Gap is still one of my favorite stores, even though now I *could* spend more money on clothes (Shhhhh, don’t tell my Real Housewife of NJ friends). I have been sucked into a mini creative writing project. It’s been fun but was soooo time consuming I’m not yet sure if I’ll do it again!
I used to love Veronica Mars. I was so sad it got cancelled.
My man doesn’t like iced tea either. Maybe it’s a man thing.
I tried to resist!! I really did but I got too involved! Ha!
I have also randomly attended Body Combat, RPM and then (tonight) Body Pump. Gym twinsies 🙂
Because all the cool kids are doing it…..
I’ve been meaning to get summer clothes for AGES, and everytime I have the energy to go shopping it’s cold out so I figure it can wait another week.
My favorite part of this post was the last sentence….life is good! I’m SO happy to read about you being happy!
I read this post this morning, I just totally forgot to comment…but after I read it, it just made me smile. 🙂
I haven’t tried BodyCombat yet, I don’t know if my gym offers it. I do take BodyPump all the time…love it!
Oh, yes, I do tend to bring my own lunch when lunch is supplied..just because I can be kind of picky sometimes…not intentionally…it’s just me!
CUTE scarf! You are just adorable!
That is such a gorgeous photo of you wearing the scarf. LOVE you.
I want to try RPM, but our gym doesn’t offer it. I think some of the other locations in town do, so maybe once school starts I’ll give it a go. I’m a class junkie too. I like having someone else tell me what to do and being able to zone out and just follow directions. Plus there is the whole pride issue that keeps me in the class when I know if I was on my own I would have quit already.
And, yes, iced tea is the perfect summer drink. I sometimes do green tea + lemon + stevia for a green tea lemonade.
RPM is easily the one class I have a love/hate relationship with. I love what it does for my body but I actually HATE the class!! It is soooooo hard! Ha!
