oh peyton
It is no secret that I am a huge Peyton Manning fan.
Huge.
And today is such a bad day for all Peyton Manning and Indianapolis Colts fans. Today Peyton Manning is being released. After not playing a single down in the entire 2011 season due to a neck injury the Colts have decided to cut Peyton due to having the number one pick in the draft. It is expected the Colts will take Stanford’s QB, Andrew Luck.
Let me be clear:
I.
AM.
NOT.
AN.
ANDREW.
LUCK.
FAN.
So I hope you’re happy Indy. You just got rid of the face of your franchise, a hall of fame quarterback and one who helped rebuild the Colts reputation and allowed you to have the clout to host a Superbowl last year. After 14 years and after so much he has done for the city of Indianapolis and for the Colts organization is it too much to expect a little loyalty?
My heart hearts.
I wanted Peyton to be one fo those players who started and ended his career with one team. Sigh.
Well I know this….#18 FOR LIFE!
Goodluck Peyton. I will cheer for you wherever you end up.
Shows even that even the best can be traded. Manning deserves all the respect in the world.
I was a little shocked when I heard the news. It stinks. 😦
This former Brett Favre fan agrees whole-heartedly with this statement: I wanted Peyton to be one fo those players who started and ended his career with one team.
Sigh.
I totally get how you must have felt. 😦
I heard this on Live with Kelly this morning and thought about you right away. I knew you’d have something to say about it. 🙂
I thought of you when I saw this news… figured it would be a low blow for ya’. So I’ll keep my gloating to myself as a non-Manning fan… :p
Yesterday I was watching Sportscenter and interneting at the same time. I heard them talking about quarterbacks and staying with teams, but I thought that they were talking about Drew and the Saints, since the PTI guys had just been debating the “Franchise” thing. It wasn’t until my husband (huge Tennessee and Peyton fan) came in that I saw the bright red sign: BREAKING NEWS!
It’s so sad, especially for Indianapolis. I really hope that they each find success without each other. Did you see this article from Gene Wojiojiodfjkfjslskdjl;a?

Love the Peyton quote at the end.
when I saw this happen on the news I immediately thought of you. What team are you going to cheer for now????
