september

September 5, 2012

I read somewhere that “September is the other January.”

I laughed at that one but I actually like September.

It means that the we, Texans, are on the back-end of summer. A-M-E-N!

No really, A{freaking}men.

It means football starts. And everyone knows that football = Peyton Manning in Kelly’s world. I am so ready.

September also means Aggie football although I am nervous about our new SEC home.

September means my sweet Mammaw turns 85 years old.

It means Castle is coming back with new episodes.

September means Bella has a birthday. Her first!

September mean routine at school.

September is a really good month!!

What are you most excited about this September?

I understand the “other January” comment. Totally. But I don’t mind September so much, either. I have a massive list of shows that are coming back into my life. Football starts. And I have an excuse to go shopping… πŸ™‚

I like September too. Mostly because it’s not so oppressively hot.

Dude, it was 100 here yesterday. Summer isn’t leaving fast enough.

September = my girl’s birthday, my birthday, my mom’s birthday. 3 generations in one little month. I love it!

I like September too! Even more so when I don’t have to go back to school.

(Also, I keep meaning to tell you, my cousin is dating the brother of that red headed girl on Castle. Can’t remember her characters name…I’ve never seen the show, but her real name is Molly Quinn. They are such a sweet family!)

Oh how neat!!! And you had dinner “with” Peyton Manning: how cool are you?

I think the new TV shows and better weather for sure!! My routine doesn’t change any, so I can understand why it’s rough on teachers for sure. But, to me, it’s also the start of the fall which makes me excited thinking about Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!! I am just about to bust out my fall pumpkins to put out!!

I’m excited for my sons 6th birthday my dogs 10th birthday and my parents coming to visit me in sunny Florida!

Can I just 2nd the AMEN on the summer ending in TX?! πŸ™‚ I’m excited to be traveling to Cleveland & Omaha over the next 2 weeks. Those aren’t glamorous destinations, but looking forward to hanging out with friends!

I like September but I’m more of a summer person. Fall is beautiful, but I hate that it means winter. It wasn’t so bad in CA but here in NJ winter is COLD! And I have to drive in the SNOW. And it’s SCARY. So, yeah, September’s nice and all but I don’t like what’s coming. I love football though – totally on board with that!

I honestly can’t image weather like that. Winter here means temps in the 40’s.

I agree! September is very motivating! i’m most excited about the changing season–cool temps, colored leaves, dark evenings, etc!

Like September– my birthday, football, apples, jewish holidays, and all my favorite tv shows!

Yes! Rosh Hashanah in one week!! Apples and honey, here I come!
