fall television makes everyone happy

October 6, 2011

Thank you to everyone who offered such valuable advice and insight yesterday on my “hate” post. After reading everyone’s comments yesterday I realize that I don’t hate this individual but rather have very strong feelings of anger, hurt and judgement of her behavior. I realize that I am using up a lot of my energy by hating and instead should try my very best to move on and accept what I can and protect myself the best way I can.

So onto a much lighter topic today. Much.

Let’s talk about television. Oh yes…I love fall TV. Love.

Here’s what is playing in my household each week:

Mondays: Monday Night Football

Tuesdays: I watched Castle (which really comes on Monday nights but I tivo it)

Wednesday: Top Chef Just Desserts

Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy

What are your must see TV shows in the fall?

I am dying to see what’s going on on Top Chef Just Desserts. I can’t wait to go home for Thanksgiving break and hopefully Bravo will run one of their marathons all day so I can catch up.

It is good…my favorite chef got sent home two weeks ago. Since you haven’t seen it I won’t say but I was very bummed!!

I don’t think there’s enough room in this comment box to talk about all the shows I watch.
It’s perhaps a bit of a problem, but it’s ok. I’ve accepted it.

Do you really only watch one show a night? My DVR box is overflowing with shows I want to watch but can’t because they’re on at the same time. weekends are for catching up 😉 But I watch a lot…. Gossip Girl, Rachel Zoe, Parks and Rec, Pan Am, Whitney, the Office are just a few of my favorites this season…

Haha…I feel stressed out if I commit to too many TV shows. HAHA. If I watch more than one a night (or tivo more than one a night) I get stressed. I’m weird.

I don’t get to watch my shows any more. Stupid higher education. 🙂
I do still have thursdays though, so Greys and The Office are mandatory.

I watch way too many Reality Shows right now: Real Housewives Jersey and Bev Hills, Jersey Shore, Bad Girls Club (slightly embarrassed of this one), Millionaire Matchmaker…the list goes on a bit too long!

non reality I love 90210 (another slightly embarrassing one..Andy watches this with me lol), and Modern Family. I am curious to watch that new one on FX – American Horror Story.

I watch old school 90210 reruns on Sunday mornings. It is my guilty pleasure!

There are always new shows I want to check out, but I don’t like having too many shows either – it just gets to be overwhelming. Ellen, Chuck, Glee, Biggest Loser, Law & Order: SVU (only SVU – and you know why), Modern Family, and The Office. I think that’s my list. I watched the premiere episode of Up All Night and didn’t like it. New Girl is cute…might try to watch on Hulu or something. Hmmm…what else? Thought Pan Am looked cute too.

I am pretty much married to Grey’s until it ends. Sometimes they frustrate me, but I’m sticking it out!

Thursday is my night of tv fun, but I’m also a sucker for Modern Family and Happy Endings on Wednesdays…

Either way, I’m so lucky we have dvr this year. :p

MNF and Castle are the best! Oh yes Grey’s too! My List: Against the Wall, Hawaii Five-O, Gossip Girl, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Parenthood, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Grey’s, Private Practice, Bones (when it comes back on in November!), NCIS: NY, and Blue Bloods!

Gotta watch NCIS no matter what. I watched Charlie’s Angels but I don’t like it very much — especially the blonde one. She reminds me of Kate Jackson’s character. I like Revenge and I’m waiting patiently for new Psych and Chuck!

First time visitor by the way.

My must watch shows are The Mentalist, Hawaii Five-O and Parenthood. I’m also checking out a few new ones this season – X-Factor, Person of Interest and A Gifted Man. My favorites are always the hour long dramas 🙂
