If I’m being real….
- I honestly look forward to The Bachelorette every Monday night and the corresponding conversation on the PBF Facebook Page.
- I think Cee Lo on The Voice is a little creepy with the female contestants.
- The new cucumber lime Gatorade flavor is ah-mazing. (thanks Diane)
- The idea that we may not have NLF football this year makes me anxious. I am not sure I will survive that.
- I almost died a little when I saw Lori’s latest recipe.
- I miss this guy.
- I made a dozen of these muffins over the weekend and between me and Keith they’re almost gone:
- Carrot Apple Flaxseed Muffins
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/2 whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup oat bran
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 apple, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup pecan or walnut pieces
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup 2% milk (can substitute non-dairy milk)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Mix flour, flaxseed, bran, sugar and dry ingredients together. Shred carrots and apples and add these along with raisins and nuts to dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir together milk eggs and vanilla and stir this into batter until well moistened. Fill cupcake papers until 3/4 full and bake at 350* for 20 to 25 minutes.Yields: 12 muffins

Looking at those muffins made me hungry. I amost tried scraping them off the lap-top screen
If I’m being real–I really don’t want to go to work today. I want to stay home, blog, watch movies, and eat cereal in my pajamas.
Cucumber lime gatorade!? Where do you buy this stuff?! Yum!
My friend Diane got me some and she just found it at a local gas station. It is really good and I am not a huge gatorade lover.
I”m not sure what i’m going to do either without the NFL?! I seriously might cry if the lockout doesn’t get lifted… i mean what am i going to do with my Sundays?!?! 😉
If I’m being real…
– I admit that I’m a fan of the vampire genre (Trueblood, Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Interview with a Vampire, all of it)
– I would be thrilled to replace NFL with real futbol (don’t kill me 🙂 I’m a soccer fan through and through
– I could drink a Starbucks latte multiple times a day regardelss of weather, if cost permitted
If I’m being real I TOTALLY agree with you on the Cee Lo thing! Though Blake was a little sketchy saying how hot Casey (I think that’s her name?) was the other night. Dude just got married and is already hitting on other girls! Haha.
I can guarantee those muffins would be demolished in no time between me and my boyfriend too 🙂
Yeah…I remember that comment about Casey and then thinking if I were Miranda I would be a little annoyed with my husband!
If I’m being real, I likely won’t get any work done today because I’m registering for my courses at 10am. I will probably stare at the clock all morning, and achieve nothing.
I have no desire to see anyone this weekend, and want to hang out by myself.
I think Cee Lo is a little creepy looking without the glasses- it’s like he’s wearing too much makeup or something. I think that Blake gets a little flirty flirty. However, if I were one of the contestants, I wouldn’t complain about that one. 😉
Did you see Cee Lo last night? He performed and he wore this crazy toupe…it was baaaaad!
If I’m being real, I really hate this season of the Bachlorette and complain about it all of the time, but can’t stop watching and talking about it!
You are the second person who has said that Cee Lo this wk. I don’t watch that show but I kinda want to see it now just to see if its true!
If I’m being real, I am totally open to the idea of an arranged marriage at this point. I’m so sick of these freaks I keep meeting.
Those muffins look amazing!! And I agree, Cee Lo is a bit of a creeper on the Voice. But at least he tries to hide it. Christina is pretty open about how much she wants the guys pants off!!
If I’m being real….I am SO not into the whole Twilight thing. I know I could get killed for saying that, but I don’t like any of the actors/actresses in the movies and I am not a fan of sci-fi…even thought I know I’m told it’s a love story!
P.S. As I went to write this, I noticed that Hilary above wrote that she is a fan of the vampire genre…this is pure coincidence and I am not trying to offend you, Hilary! 🙂
If I’m being real…I want to quit my current job and pursue my dreams of owning my own business! LOve that recipe BTW!! Yum!
– Some Weston Price folks on a FB ‘healthy moms’ page are creeping me out. I like my veggie centric bloggers much better
– But not the bloggers who post 17 different shots of each meal. Every day. That bugs me too.
– I devour US Weekly magazine at the checkout lane every week. Sometimes OK and People too if the line is long enough.

If I’m being real…I hate my chosen career, but I’m not sure what to do about it.
…I’m really happy for my friend who had a baby this week, but really sad for me.
Oh Sarah…that makes me sad. I hope you know that it is never too late to change your life. I know it sounds so cheesy but it’s true. I am in the midst of doing it and yeah right now it kind of sucks and it’s hard but I know in the end it is going to be worth it. Hugs!

This is the first year I haven’t really watched the Bachelorette, no bueno!
Cucumber lime? I don’t care for gatorade, but that certainly gets my attention!! I may have to give that a try.
If I’m being real, I love sitting on my butt, eating, and watching the Bachelorette and the Real Housewives….quite the opposite of my day-to-day life working in a Fitness Center! hah!
Life without NFL? Doesn’t sound possible does it?
