ten things i am hating
I am piggy backing off yesterday’s ten things I am loving and going with the ten things I am hating! This should be just as fun and I can’t wait to hear yours as well!
1. This flipping heat wave! Normal temps for ATX right now is upper 80’s/low 90’s. Plus we are in such a drought that all of our July 4th firework shows have been cancelled! Grrrr!

2. Watermelon. Yeah…it is not for me. Now Cantaloupe is a different story entirely.
3. Laundry. I am convinced that Keith and I produce as much dirty laundry as a family of four. It is seriously a little bit ridiculous.
4. Minute To Win It. I’m sorry I just don’t get that show. At all.
5. No Strings Attached. I hated this movie. I just couldn’t get into it and I thought Natalie Portman (whom I usually love) was just awkward and odd. It also didn’t seem like a very cohesive movie.
6. Goat Cheese. Sorry I know this is going to be a wildly unpopular belief but to me it just tastes rancid and sour. Bleh!
7. Skinny jeans. I hate them. I am a bootcut kind of girl. I think skinny jeans look good on mannequins and I don’t want to be mannequin skinny thank you very much.
8. Store bought eggs. Ever since we got our own chickens (that’s a post for another day) I don’t like the taste of store bought eggs anymore.
9. Unloading the dishwasher! WORST CHORE EVER!! And it seems like it is always full and ready to be unloaded.
10. The New England Patriots. Obviously…I’m a Colts fan and I hate New England. HATE.

I agree with about 90 percent of your list…I love watermelon though!
Right now I am hating 5-day work weeks.
One thing I disagree with is watermelon, I’m pretty sure I could eat an entire one… I love them 🙂 Yes, Minute to Win It is a rather stupid game, and goat cheese makes me want to hurl
The weather here (new england) is so much different than where you are! It is cold and rainy here and it feels much more like April than June 😦 I am so sorry your fireworks are canceled!
I love bootcut jeans. Skinny just doesn’t work when you have hips and thighs, as I do! I also like that wide leg pants are coming back into style.
I hate that I dont have my own chickens – jealous!
And I hate that you just havent tried the right goat cheese 😉 At the farmers market these girls were telling me all about their goats and their hormones and how it affects the flavor of the cheese. Probably tmi, but the point is goat cheese has all sorts of levels of rancidness, as you refer to it, and some are super mild! Sorry, I’ll stop 🙂
Believe it or not, I’m with you on goat cheese. Way too strong for my tastes.

Oh no! I’m sad you hated No Strings Attached! I loved it (even though it WAS dopey) – I just think Natalie Portman was so cute in it.
Agreed on the unloading the dishwasher and the laundry stuff though!! 🙂
I also hate goat cheese and the Patriots. I used to hate skinny jeans, but they’re kind of growing on me. I am hating getting slammed with work before leaving for my conference.
Unloading the dishwasher and doing laundry are my most hated chores. They suck.
Right now, as awful as this is I’m hating my neighbors children. They jump on their trampoline and scream all night long. Every night. And its not regular “we’re having fun ad laughing” noises. They actually scream for hours. I hate it.
Screaming kids make me axious. Keith and I used to have neighbors whose kids did that a lot…thankfully that was like 5 years ago and they grown out of that screaming phase!
Seriously, this watermelon thing? I think it might seriously hinder our friendship.
(P.S. I’m totally kidding) 😉

This heat is RIDICULOUS! I am with you on the cantaloupe but I don’t hate watermelon… I just had a bad experience with it once.
I didn’t like No Strings Attached, either. And I saw Something Borrowed a few weeks ago and had mixed feelings about it.
I’d say I hate most of those things too, except watermelon. And you got your own chickens?! I want to know more

I’m not too fond of water chestnuts, my ex-boss and coworker, unloading the dishes, and folding laundry. We have similar dislikes. I’m not with you on the goat cheese though. Love that stuff. 😉

Jeggings….hate hate hate!! And I will admit that the goat cheese pizza we had in Phoenix wasn’t bad! Maybe there is hope for me after all..
I didn’t like no strings attached at all! It was such a disappointment. I’m not a huge fan of unloading the dishwasher either, I avoid it at all costs.
Right there with you with the Pats and heat. Now goat cheese? I could eat at every meal and be a happy gal!

I hear ya! I hate skinny jeans – with a passion. Also, I have a dreadful dishwasher just waiting to be unloaded at this very minute. Oh well – still beats hand washing!

Laundry!! I hate it so much…it NEVER ends! Even before we had the Little One, it was ridiculous. I feel ya.
But I do love skinny jeans because I hate the way bootcut get all frayed on the ends, and how they get soaking wet if it’s raining and they drag through a puddle. 🙂
I agree on the watermelon (and the weather). I actually dislike ALL melon. I call it filler fruit because it’s cheaper than berries or tropical fruits. Therefore, typically fruit salads are mostly melon aka: filler fruit 🙂 I wondered how that movie was, so now I won’t have to bother. I have to politely disagree witht he goat cheese (maybe my fave cheese EVER) and the skinnies. Big fan, though yuo have to find the right pair for sure.
I HATE green beans out of a can. I can’t even choke down one. The fresh ones are a whole other story. I also hate intolerant people, vacuuming, and drying my hair.
Oh yes…drying my hair! I hate that too!! Especially when it is so dang HOT!

I’m not a fan of goat cheese. And i LOVEEEEE that we both hate the New England Patriots 🙂 I’m not a fan of ironing… so the only clothes i need to iron are my job interview clothes 🙂 YAY!
Clearly, since we have so much in common, I agree with many of these…especially minute to win it. What is that show’s deal? just don’t get it. I also HATE emptying the dishwasher…but it is mostly my job. yuck!

I know! It is odd…but I am a canteloupe lover!
So first of all I want to totally steal these 2 post ideas. If I decide to, don’t rat me out (although you know I’ll give you a shout out – ha). I love watermelon and hate canteloupe – ha. I do hate Gisele so hopefully that counts towards hatings the Pats – you know I only care about the Cowboys. I am totally hating this weather and hating summer TV (or lack thereof). I was totally excited for True Blood to start and Brent got rid of all our movie channels. Ugh. So I guess I hate that too. Ha!
I’m not with you on the watermelon thing, but I am with you on skinny jeans. Only a small percentage of the population can pull them off, yet a large percentage seem to try.

I totally agree about laundry and Minute to Win It. Neither are entertaining! As far as skinny jeans go, I felt disgusting the first time I tried them on a few years ago; it was not a pretty sight. However, although my body hasn’t changed too much, I now LOVE them and live in them when it’s cold. They are so cute with slouchy boots!
