Happy Saturday!! I have such a good recipe for you!! Oh my gosh…this was delicious! Peanut Butter Bread…really need I say more? Enjoy!
Peanut Butter Bread
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk (I use unsweetened almond milk)
3/4 cup peanut butter
banana slices for garnish, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut in peanut butter with a fork. Add egg and milk. Stir just until moistened.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn loaf out onto rack and cool completely.
Serves 10
This looks delicious!
I don’t even like pb but this looks great!!
You don’t like PB? I wish I didn’t…ha!
Nope, you surely do not need to say more, this recipe looks perfect!
So simple, but it looks absolutely delicious! And really, peanut butter and bananas were meant for each other.
No words…
I only have one word. Yum. š
Hmm…could this work with other PB?? What kind of PB do you use?
Looks delish!
I haven’t made it with anything other than PB but you could certaintly try. I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t work. I just used regular creamy peanut butter. Nothing fancy.
Wow, sounds delicious! I actually have a little extra time today and all of those ingredients on hand! LOVE bread that doesn’t require yeast (not a fan of baking with yeast!) I may just do this later this afternoon!
This recipe is so easy! I love the bananas on top.
That looks delicious!! I’m off to make it š
I am all about the PB and banana combo. Now if you could just transport some of that to me pronto that would be great š
Hope you have a wonderful start to your week! š
Mmmm that is my favorite combo- pb & bananas! Doesn’t get much better than that š
Looks delicious!
