search me

June 11, 2012

I always find it amusing to see what people type into search engines that leads them to my blog. Seriously. If you have a blog and have never done it, you should. I guarantee it will make you laugh or at the very least smile.

So here are some of the more interesting ones I’ve seen lately:

1. What Should I Write on Facebook?

Hum…that would be a personal opinion but I would stay away from anything super political, judgmental and inappropriate. Anything else is probably fair game.

2. Sending Mail After A Breakup.

Um…probably not a good idea unless it is to return something of his. You don’t want to be that girl. And you know what I mean.

3. Is What Kelly Said Pregnant?

No. I am not. We are actually not even trying at the moment. We’re taking a break and enjoying our new puppy and each other. We’ll start again around Octoberish and hopefully the third time will be the charm. Even though I still have bad days I am truly at peace with that decision.

4. Sweet Potato Pasta Sauce.

Um…yes I do have a recipe for that. Hope you found it. It’s amazing!!! Like lick the bowl and contemplate not sharing good! Recipe here.

5. Should I Mix Peanut Butter and Marshmallows Together?

I would say yes. Go for it. And maybe add some chocolate while you’re at it.

6. Will Coffee Kill Me?

Well goodness! How much are you drinking?

7. Who’s Bella?

My puppy although I have a sneaking suspicion that isn’t to whom you were referring. Sorry!

8. Is WhatKellySaid depressed?

Oh, thanks for the concern but I think I am good. Depressed wouldn’t be my word choice. Jealous, Scared, Angry…oh yeah those sound much better. Kidding. Really I’m much better now. One day at a time.

9. Is Kate Middleton in London?

I would assume so but the next time we chat I’ll be sure to confirm and report back.

10. And for the most common: What Kelly Said.

Lately? Not much but I am feeling a spark coming on….

What’s your favorite search engine term you’ve found related to your blog?? (And obviously I use the term “related” loosely.)

My main one is ‘allergic reaction to amoxicillin’ since I have a post about that and pictures of Trent show up on a google images search…which I find kind of weird.

I love going through my search terms every now and then. I get a lot of creepy ones – but lately most of them have been school related. Makes sense considering it’s about all I talk about anymore. 🙂

  4. June 11, 2012 2:28 pm

Great post! I get ‘late to work’ a lot…which is totally weird! I did write about being late to work, but who is searching that!?

  5. June 11, 2012 3:22 pm

I miss ya Kelly! I love your updates here & there 🙂 Glad we are friends on Facebook so we can stay in touch!

  6. June 11, 2012 4:29 pm

Hahaha…I always get one about “big girl legs,” which I don’t ever remember writing about. Oh well. 🙂

I used to get A LOT related to Peyton Manning. I’m not sure why…..;)

  7. June 11, 2012 7:46 pm

The most bizarre one that I got in the last month was, “Oily Asian Girls.” What??

  8. June 12, 2012 9:25 am

I LOVE it! I actually kept a running list for a loooooong time, eventually hoping to post something similar (which, knowing me, I may never get around to!) I think one of my favorites was “avril lavigne eats shrimp” and also “can nutella be used as a coat?” 🙂

I hardly leave a response, but i did a few searching and wound up here search me | What Kelly
Said. And I do have 2 questions for you if it’s allright.
Could it be just me or does it look like some of the remarks come across like coming from brain dead
people? 😛 And, if you are posting at other social sites, I
would like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post.
Would you make a list of all of your shared pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

Outstanding post but I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on
this topic? I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little
    bit further. Many thanks!

I have to thank you for the efforts you’ve put in writing this website.
I’m hoping to check out the same high-grade blog posts from you in the future as well.
In truth, your creative writing abilities has inspired me to get my
    very own blog now 😉

  14. May 29, 2014 2:18 am

Howdy! I know this is somewhat off topic but
I was wondering if you knew where I could get a
captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using
the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding
    one? Thanks a lot!

Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems
with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up
losing several weeks of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?
