thanksgiving lessons

November 28, 2011

Driving 4 hours to your in-laws house is much more fun when the game, 20 questions, is involved.

I really like cranberry sauce.

Being an Aggie in a family of Longhorns isn’t fun.

Especially when you lose by 2 points and you take pictures with long horns placed behind your head.

Thanksgiving food really is the best.

The annual holiday gift exchange is fun especially when you walk home with a Magic Bullet!

Place your bets wisely. When playing squares on the Cowboys and A&M game you have a chance to win money.

Lest anyone forget what Thanksgiving really means in my family:

And lastly, Thanksgiving is really fun when the people you love are all around you.

How was your Thanksgiving?

I am a passionate reader and so I added a new tab above, Books, and it highlights my favorite book series as well as my top 10 favorite all time book list [as of right now] Enjoy!

Yeah, that game pretty much sucked. Ugh.

I just read two really good books and am about to finish a pretty good murder mystery too. I’m trying to figure out what’s next, so I’ll check out your page.

My Thanksgiving was good but too short, of course. I could honestly sit at my grandparent’s house around the table with the family for days!
Looks like you had a great holiday! 🙂

Thanksgiving was great, though i’m pretty sure my body is rebelling against me given the amount of food I’ve eaten in the past few days. Ugh!

I love those rival aggies/longhorns cups! I need those for my family!

Also, I LOVE your new books tab! It’s going to be my go-to (when I someday empty out my kindle).

A book tab – what a brilliant idea! No worries about the movie, we’ll go when you’re back from HAWAII! Our weekend ended up being much busier than I anticipated so I’m glad we weren’t stressed about trying to squeeze in the movie.
