ten things you don’t know

Today’s guest post comes from my honey Keith! He is sweet enough to do a guest post for me while I am in London without him. What a guy!

___________________________________________________________________________________________

Hey everyone. Keith here. Since Kelly is living it up in London without me I figured why not do a post for you guys on all the top ten things  you don’t really know about Kelly. Muahahaha. It is on!

1. She goes to bed ridiculously early. I am talking like 8:30pm. If she is awake past 9:30pm; I ask what the occasion is.

2. She is messy. When we were dating we did the long distance thing and every time I came to her apartment for the weekend it is was spotless. After almost 6 years of marriage I am realizing that was all for show.

3. She will (and I have seen it) talk football to anyone and she knows her stuff. Don’t get into an argument over pro football with her unless you know your facts, She’ll get you every time if you don’t.

4. She still sleeps with the teddy bear she got in 6th grade. I hate that bear. She was, in fact, so scared that “Mr. Bear” (as she calls him) wouldn’t be safe with me so he made the trek to London too. That bear is a world traveler.

5. She is a very passionate person and that translates into all emotions. I sometimes remind myself when she gets fired up that she is just passionate and she definitely fights for what she believes in.

6. She has really nasty feet. Those typical runner’s feet…calluouses, blisters, black toenails. It aint pretty. It aint pretty at all.

7. When I see her hair NOT in a pony tail I am outwardly shocked.

8. She has to have Viva paper towels and Cottenelle toilet paper. No exceptions.

9. 99% of the time she does the laundry she forgets the last load of clothes are in the dryer and they will sit there usually until one of us needs socks and remembers to look in the dryer.

10. She loves peanut butter and I often can open the peanut butter container and see a finger print in it. She’s classy like that.

So there you go…ten things about my baby that you didn’t know. I hope you had fun with this and now since Kelly usually ends her posts with a question I’ll say:

Tell us (Kelly is reading from London) one thing she doesn’t know about you.

HAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS!!! I think its really cute that Keith did this!

One thing you don’t know about me: I hate getting my nails done…if my mom says she will PAY for it, I still don’t want to get them done. If I have to do it for a wedding, the nail polish usually “stays on” (aka I don’t use nail polish remover) for months. Everyone hates it! But I just don’t want to sit there for 20 mins doing my nails…when I have other things to do!!

I just love you both to pieces. I hope you are having a wonderful trip Kelly and I miss seeing you guys! And thanks for making me laugh this morning Keith. Makes me wonder what my husband would say about me?????

Thanks Debbie! We love you too!! London is amazing….I love it!

I so wish I could convince Brent to do this for me – so funny to hear Keith’s perspective. 🙂 Kelly probably knows most things I’d put on there… I guess a silly one is that I still LOVE candy. Just straight up sugar and I could eat it every day!

    • September 20, 2011 10:47 am

Whenever I see Fun Dips I think of you…because they are pure sugar!

This is hilarious — I need to ask Jason to do this because I wonder what he would say!

About me: I love to straighten things: the ketchup/salt/pepper shakers at restaurants, I’ll fold clothes at stores if Jason is looking at things, I’ll put things away in the grocery store if I notice they are in the wrong place (like when someone randomly places bananas in the tomatoes because they decided they didn’t want them). It drives me nuts to see stuff like that!

haha! As someone who used to work at the GAP I would have loved you as a customer! 🙂

  5. September 20, 2011 8:27 am

I love this! I am right with Kelly on the Viva paper towels…don’t even bring anything else into the house!

  6. September 20, 2011 9:06 am

Hahaha this is awesome! I love that Keith posted. 🙂

I still sleep with the stuffed Pooch Patrol dog my parents got me for Christmas when I was 5.

  7. September 20, 2011 9:47 am

I totally feel you on the football thing (I will school anyone who questions my knowledge!) and the Viva/Cottonelle combo? For life.

I may have to break up with this blog, as I am VERY loyal to Charmin.

Love this list! I’m an early to bed person too – nice to find another one out there!

I loved this! Kelly you are brave! I can’t wait to see the “10 things you don’t know about my husband” post when you get back! 😉
    Let’s see….just one thing? hmmm….
I am a couponer. No, not an extreme couponer like on tv (I like to say I’m a “realistic couponer”). I love saving lots of money on things I’m going to buy anyway. Last month I saved $1,000 by using coupons (yes, $1,000). And no, I did not buy a bunch of candy bars and tiny little toothpastes. haha!
So there you go, my secret is out.

    • September 21, 2011 1:38 am

$1000?!?! Okay we need to talk…it looks like I need to become a couponer!! Way to go!

  10. September 20, 2011 1:34 pm

what a cute post! i love it. I also always leave the last load in the dryer when doing laundry… i literally just remembered i left one in there on Sunday! and it takes me about a week to fold it all. at least it’s clean… right?

  11. September 20, 2011 8:48 pm

  12. September 21, 2011 10:55 am

Aww I love hearing these from Keith!
Best part- football- I’m the same way 😉 I love when people try to out football talk me..I’m like paaaa-lease..you ain’t got nothin’ on this girl! They think that just because I’m a girl I don’t know my stuff. Wrong!
& Cottonelle is the best 😉

  13. September 22, 2011 2:17 am

You must be freaking out with Peyton’s issues. My husband is not so happy.
You probably didn’t know that in 2nd grade I wanted to be an art teacher. Now I’m a structural engineer. Yeah, that makes sense.
